SACRAMENTO, CA – Dr. Richard Pan, pediatrician and State Senator representing the Sacramento area made the following statement in regards to the Governor’s Executive Order to reduce youth vaping consumption:

“As the dangers of vaping are becoming more evident, I commend the Governor for his leadership and for addressing this growing problem. The rapid rise of vaping among high school and middle school students is alarming and we cannot allow an entire new generation of kids to become addicted to nicotine through vaping. As a pediatrician, I stand with the Governor and my legislative colleagues in addressing this growing threat to our children’s health.”
