More Educators Join Long List of SB 277 Supporters

June 8, 2015

Sacramento, CA- Dr. Richard Pan today thanked State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tom Torlakson and the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) for working to protect every student’s right to be safe at school by closing California vaccine loophole.

“The Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tom Torlakson and ACSA work tirelessly to make California students and schools successful and they join a long line of educators already fighting to pass SB 277,” said Dr. Richard Pan, a pediatrician and state senator representing Sacramento. “The overwhelming support among California’s educational community demonstrates that the opposition’s rhetoric that our educational system will somehow suffer under the measure is not based in fact.”
